Education:
Dr. Bonner, who established his practice in Dumas in 1980, graduated with high honors from Stephen F. Austin State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio in 1980. He was one of the youngest dentists in the nation to receive Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry, his second post-doctorate degree.

Dr. Bonner offers total dental care including orthodontics, implants and restorative dentistry. Extensive training and experience in orthodontics allow him to monitor young patients to identify the most ideal time for orthodontic intervention. Restorative dentistry is the art of repairing, reconstructing and replacing teeth to restore the beauty of the patient's smile.
Raised in Dumas, he has served as a Dumas City Commissioner and Mayor Pro-Tem. He serves on the board of directors for the Dumas Educational Foundation; has coached youth soccer, baseball, football and wrestling; and is an active member of the Dumas Noon Lions. He is a Bible class teacher at the Central Church of Christ in Dumas and presents seminars on Evidences for God, the Bible, and Creation throughout the United States.
