Exceptional Care. Always.
Moore County Hospital District believes that education is the key for the future of the community it serves. We also believe that the best talent is already in our own community, and that all it needs is the opportunity to grow and develop.
As such, MCHD periodically offers scholarships for students who are seeking careers in the medical field.
Once a year, MCHD accepts applications for the W.J. Morton Scholarship for students entering a medical profession. Applications will be accepted through May 30th and may be obtained at the front receptionist desk, by contacting Marketing at (806) 934-7801, or via the website by an online download that will be available during the acceptance period. Applications are typically available two to three months before the deadline.
Other scholarships may also be offered periodically and will be announced on the main page during the period the applications will be accepted.
Additionally, the Moore County Health Foundation has established an endowment fund for scholarships through the Amarillo College, Moore County Campus, RN (Registered Nurse) program. For students interested in this program and scholarship, please contact the Foundation at (806) 934-7804.
