Our breast cancer screening and education program helps pay for screening and diagnostic mammograms for those who cannot afford them. For more information: MCHD Komen Grant Funds MCHD is comprised of several factions that span healthcare for the entire lifecyle of our patients. Memorial Hospital Memorial Hospital is a sixty-bed acute care hospital that is accredited by the Joint Commission. It features an extensive Women's Services Department with over 300 deliveries annually. Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Our sixty bed long term care nursing center offers a clean, comfortable, home-like atmosphere with daily activities and a caring, compassionate staff. Memorial Home Health MCHD community-based services, including Home Health and Memorial Hospice, provide quality care in a patient's home, including end of life palliative care. Outpatient Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy This extensive department provides rehabilitative services with Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies. Emergency Services Our 24 hour ER is designated as a Level IV in trauma service Area-A, providing quality care to the trauma patients in the area. The EMS Department provides Basic Life Support service with Mobile Intensive Care capabilities every minute of every day. Moore County Health Foundation Our foundation's mission is to promote MCHD by improving community healthcare through fundraising, education and support.
